Welcome to the Li research group. Our group focuses on exploring how cells can be manipulated and engineered, and integrated with biomaterials, to achieve targeted drug delivery and enhance therapeutic outcomes for cancer, autoimmune disorders, and other diseases. Additionally, we are dedicated to elucidating the mechanisms of Liquid-liquid phase separation (LLPS) within cells and leveraging this knowledge to develop innovative therapeutic strategies for cancer treatment. Our research group is highly interdisciplinary, spanning fields such as cell and molecular biology, materials science, biomedical engineering, chemistry, pharmaceutics, and clinical medicine. In recent years, our work has been published in leading scientific journals, including Nature Materials, Nature Chemistry, Nature Biomedical Engineering, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, Science Advances, PNAS, and Advanced Materials.
